Salicylic acid at 2% is oil-soluble, which allows it to work inside the pore to clear the build-up that leads to congestion and breakouts. Phytic acid at 3% offers gentler exfoliation and helps address the marks left behind by past blemishes, while mandelic acid at 1% has a larger molecular size that allows it to work more slowly and more comfortably.
